Yes, I signed up for WW! I'm learning the logos, lingo's, tips and tricks. I admit it...I watch points from here on out! It's tough in the beginning and then food gets boring and suddenly all you see are points and instead food anymore. When that happens you need to hit the cookbooks! I'm so glad I was offered to review this 45 recipe filled ebook! All the recipes are downloaded into my phone now and ready at the the tip of my fingers to be cooked! The book is organized and broke down into breakfast, lunch, dinners and desserts. They are all already point calculated for you by servings. What I like most is that these recipes are simple and there are no huge list of ingredients to find and buy. Most ingredients you will probably already have.  Now who wants pizzadillas? This hungry girl does!! And I want the caramel apple fluff, marshmallow fudge, Mexican chicken, Shepard pie, lemon garlic shrimp......just to name a few. Thanks for making WW fun again! I was sent this product for free to try out in exchange for my review. The product is called Intellident Toothbrush Shield. Every time your finished brushing your teeth you slide one of these shields over the top of your toothbrush to wick moisture away from the brush bristles. One of the worst things to have on your toothbrush is moisture because moisture encourages bacteria to grow! Plus if your brush sits in a bathroom with a flushing toilet the toilet will contaminate it. Gross..... who wants potty mouth? No more worries Intellident shields are here to save the day from the evil bacteria spitting toilet! It looks clean in your bathroom and no more worries of other germ infested toothbrushes leaning up against your toothbrush. Its great for home and travel! Here is what mine looks like! 

The shields lasts about a week and then you should replace your shield. This pack of 10 will last me a long time. Another thing i like about this product is that its made in the USA and  its a women owned business......GO WOMEN POWER! They also make mouth guard shields. I need to find someone to try my mouth guard sample out. I don't use a mouth guard so let me know if your interested!

Well I'm not and never will be family planning unless its a vacation! Some people do plan these types of events and here is one the best tools you will need. It is called the .....baby maker.......well you see the name in the title of this blog! The title is also a link to amazon where you can purchase one. Not a baby but a thermometer! It comes in a nice white storage case that is insulated with blue foam casing. It  also comes with a chart to help guide you to your bodies ovulation time! Yes your body temperature can help guide you to the precise time that is best for you to conceive screaming infants! Who knew.....I sure didn't! And NO this device does not go in your vagina! I was asked that twice actually! Its an oral thermometer and I'm going to use it when i feel under the weather! It stores all of your previous readings, you can set to read in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and it has the date, time, and an alarm set. The displays light up in a soft blue that is easy on your eyes.  Its comes with an instruction guide and is very easy to use. It was already loaded with batteries and the order was shipped quickly and undamaged. I received this product for free or at a very discounted price for exchange of my honest unbiased opinion and review.

Cuppa Magic Relaxing Sleep Tea

Relaxing Sleep Tea

I received this sleep tea for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Lets be real here, I live in the south and like my tea sweet and iced especially during the summer time heat! Well i have had some trouble sleeping every once in a while. Sometimes by brain wont turn off at night because of anxiety so i thought to myself, why not give this little hot tea a chance at bedtime. When i received my package it was sealed up real nice to keep the teabags fresh. The smell was unique yet calming coming from the bag. The lady on the front of the bag looked very relaxed almost like she was sleep drinking her tea! I hope i look that pretty at bedtime asleep drinking my tea! Somebody better wake her up she might spill that tea on herself! Anyway back to my review...when i read the ingredients on the back i was like hold up....rosebuds, holy basil, rose hips? I've never ate roses before! Or holy basil, lord help me! This is definitely organic. Even the girl on the back of the packaging is thinking about what she is about to consume! See.....she is probably researching it all in that book!  

I followed the direction correctly and let my tea bag soak in really hot water for 5-7 minutes and then i added some honey to make it sweet. My first taste i wasn't so sure i could drink this. But then all the new flavors to my taste buds united and i came to the conclusion that i do like this tea! It was delightful! It soothed my soul (must be the holy basil) and i was relaxed. I went to bed soon after my tea because it was really late and i slept so well i did not wake up to my alarm clock and was late to work! No worries...I felt great! I looked forward to it the next night. The 2nd time i fell asleep after drinking my tea i woke up and remembered feeling a relaxing, peaceful, tingling sensation in my head and thought oh how nice i feel and went straight back to sleep. That only happened that one time. I must of been really tired that night! I could of dreamt it. So the next night i made more and it tasted even better then before. So my advice to anyone reading this......give this tea a try if you have trouble sleeping. It does everything it says it does on the packaging. I ordered mine here off of amazon and it quickly shipped to my front door.

This animal sanctuary is just beautiful. I was impressed with how large it was and how well kept up it looked. Don't get me wrong its not a fancy zoo with lavish exhibits, but for a volunteer run and donation funded only organization its a pretty fantastic place for these rescued animals to be. When i say rescued i mean every one of these amazing animals have some very interesting stories from there past.  Everything from being found in drug raids by police to old retired circus performers.  As soon as you walk through the gates your immediately greeted by emu's that follow down the gated path to farm land! Take a left and you enter the world of Lion, Tigers and Bears on my!! There are monkeys of all sorts, foxes, lemurs, exotic birds, white tigers, wolves and so much more. All the fences are labeled with what you will see, stories of rescues, names of the animals. Watch your step for snakes and possible poop from the free roaming critters. Take your cameras, have a picnic at one of the dozen picnic tables provided and enjoy a day at this peaceful little place on earth.  It is free to walk through but please give a donation. It takes a lot of volunteer time to educate us, a lot of money for upkeep and food, and somebody has to do the dirty work to keep all these animals happy, healthy, fed and pretty for us to have the privilege of viewing there beauty and educating ourselves as well as our children about wildlife we typically would never get another opportunity to see so close up.

If your looking to have an exquisite night out this is the place to be. Its located in the historic downtown entrace to Villa Rica, GA. You will walk thru the doors of this old building to see a classy and very stylish wine bar. It still has that brand new smell! It's so open and clean. You feel welcomed upon arrival. You can sit at the bar and do a wine tasting that teaches you about some of the south's finest wines. Or pick a large table to sit at with friends and socialize. Walk around with your favorite glass of wine and admire the fine arts in the gallery. Bring your own snacks to keep your palate cleansed because you won't be able to resist the urge to try a variety of wines at a very afforable price. You will probably purchase a bottle or a few before you leave. Go visit and relax, swirl your wine, smell it, check the clarity, taste it and enjoy all the different fruits and spices of these local wines. They will wake up those taste buds for sure! I just love this little diner that's tucked away in Douglasville, GA. Its located in a quiet shopping plaza off Stewart parkway. They typically open at 7 a.m. and close by 2:30 p.m. serving a variety of breakfast and lunch items. The portions of food here are very generous for the affordable prices. You want to know what make this place so unique? When you order any meat entree you will taste a rich delicious smoked flavor that will drive your taste buds insane! Yes they smoke all there meats and mix up there own fresh jellies daily.  I notice most of the customers replace syrup on there waffles for jelly. Speaking of waffles the ones here cover your plate and the french toast must be at least 4 inches thick per slice! Don't feel embarrassed to take pictures of your food because if you look around every one is doing it! So remember next time your up early and ready for breakfast head out to thumbs up diner. They even have a nice area outside to eat next to beautiful fresh flowers. Here is a collage of pictures my friends and i have taken of our fun food here!

Westbend Breakfast Station

               MAKE ME A SANDWICH


The Westbend Breakfast Station has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. In fact, its my favorite kitchen gadget! I have owned it now for over a year and use it weekly. It looks like a souped up toaster on steroids! It includes two slots for heating toast and a side steamer with a tiny pan for cooking an egg. It also includes a meat tray and a boiled egg tray. 

No need to stop for a fast food breakfast! Poached, scrambled, boiled? Coming right up! Egg McMuffin? Easy peezy! Ready in a snap! Did I mention it times the toast just right and is done at the same time the egg and meat are? I recently added the Kerig Machine next to my breakfast station and i lived happily ever after! 

Here's one of my specialties:

 1 egg

 2 slices of wheat toast and mayo

 1 sliced avocado, pepper

 A few small tomato slices

GRACELAND REVIEW

 Elvis fan? Doesn't matter! Why would you not want to tour the "king of rock and rolls" mansion? People of all ages could benefit from learning a little music history during this trip. Fan or not, if you have the opportunity to travel to Memphis, TN. don't miss out on this experience of a life time!

 I decided to drive to Graceland on Monday, March 28,2016. Beginning my trip from Douglasville, GA. it took me about 5 hours to arrive at my destination. This included a Starbucks run, a bathroom break, and a stop in Tupelo, MS. to visit Elvis Presley Birth Place. This is where it all began! Its also where i suddenly realized i was not in the current year of 2016 anymore!

Back on the road again for the long stretch. Is it me or is the interstate getting browner and more bumpy! Oh please god don't let me have a flat tire. Nope the road just sucks. I hear that the Graceland Mansion has been untouched since Elvis death in 1977. Pretty sure the roads have not be repaved since then either. I'm not going lie folks, once i arrived the area was just run down. I was very glad i picked Heartbreak Hotel because it was probably the nicest place around. 

Once we arrived around noon and realized TN is an hour behind GA we had plenty of time to check in to the hotel, pick up our tickets and eat lunch. The Mansion was right across the street. To my surprise the Graceland parking lot was attached to our hotels so it was a quick walk over to what i call Elvis Land! His 2 planes were parked over there too. We did not wait in any lines and hopped right on the shuttle. I was handed an iPad and headphones and was at Elvis front door within 5 minutes! Suddenly i was in Elvis living room realizing i had a faulty iPad in one hand and trying to take pictures with my phone in the other. As I walked down a side hallway and stood in front of his parents room I finally hear sweet John Stamos voice tell the story of the Presley family moments spent in each room. John does an outstanding job narrating and really helps you almost envision the memories there.

Oddly as I walked through the house a warming feeling of familiarity came over me. The colors, patterns, designs, statues, pink bathroom etc reminded me of my childhood. I remember seeing similar decorations in my parents, grandparents and friends parents homes. There was even Lisa Marie's old rusted swing set outside next to the old white ranch style fence that of course had horses behind that fence. I wondered if the horses were Lisa or Priscilla's! Did you know they still come stay at the Mansion during holidays and still eat family dinners there on that gorgeous dining room table?

Hallway after hallway of awards, gold records and trophies, movies and outfits. Did i mention his cars and gold plated airplanes..... oh my! I even heard there were warehouses out there full of his things. Just remember if you go in just visiting you will probably leave singing "I cant help falling in love with you"!
