Relaxing Sleep Tea
I received this sleep tea for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Lets be real here, I live in the south and like my tea sweet and iced especially during the summer time heat! Well i have had some trouble sleeping every once in a while. Sometimes by brain wont turn off at night because of anxiety so i thought to myself, why not give this little hot tea a chance at bedtime. When i received my package it was sealed up real nice to keep the teabags fresh. The smell was unique yet calming coming from the bag. The lady on the front of the bag looked very relaxed almost like she was sleep drinking her tea! I hope i look that pretty at bedtime asleep drinking my tea! Somebody better wake her up she might spill that tea on herself! Anyway back to my review...when i read the ingredients on the back i was like hold up....rosebuds, holy basil, rose hips? I've never ate roses before! Or holy basil, lord help me! This is definitely organic. Even the girl on the back of the packaging is thinking about what she is about to consume! See.....she is probably researching it all in that book!
I followed the direction correctly and let my tea bag soak in really hot water for 5-7 minutes and then i added some honey to make it sweet. My first taste i wasn't so sure i could drink this. But then all the new flavors to my taste buds united and i came to the conclusion that i do like this tea! It was delightful! It soothed my soul (must be the holy basil) and i was relaxed. I went to bed soon after my tea because it was really late and i slept so well i did not wake up to my alarm clock and was late to work! No worries...I felt great! I looked forward to it the next night. The 2nd time i fell asleep after drinking my tea i woke up and remembered feeling a relaxing, peaceful, tingling sensation in my head and thought oh how nice i feel and went straight back to sleep. That only happened that one time. I must of been really tired that night! I could of dreamt it. So the next night i made more and it tasted even better then before. So my advice to anyone reading this......give this tea a try if you have trouble sleeping. It does everything it says it does on the packaging. I ordered mine here off of amazon and it quickly shipped to my front door.
